We are a-political and non-religious organization that believes in good governance, powerful partnerships and impactful outcomes that stimulate equitable wealth creation between businesses, government and communities.
Our goal is to be the leading voice of business affairs in Africa for we are established as a conduit between Africa and the world; where business opportunities are nurtured between international organizations with an interest in doing business in Africa; and African companies with an interest in taking their businesses global.
GABC is a recognized leader in facilitating powerful partnerships for integrated economic development. Our facilitation approach combines effective dialogue in purposeful ways to address challenges to equitable wealth creation holistically, always tailored to local solutions and know-how. We focus on system strengthening to enhance a business environment for sustainable success.
Ska Wara Initiative
Ska Wara Initiative which means “Don’t Worry”, was established to support orphans and child-led homes in remote rural areas and townships in South Africa; with a view of expanding our work across SADC region and then across Africa. Our aim is to make sure that all kids have a sense of belonging. Young children should not have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. And they should be able to get an education without worrying about what they shall eat or wear. Hence we launched the Ska Wara Initiative.
The Global Africa Business Club has established the Department of Charitable Giving, whose role is to administer the Ska Wara Initiative. The department’s duty is to identify desperate cases that struggle to access funding from conventional sources. All donations go straight to the orphans and we have a fixed budget to run our operations.
GABC Members
Our members are from all around the world. Our international members are looking for business and investment opportunities in Africa or related to Africa. Our African members are looking for international partners or investors. We help bridge the gap between all our members.
Board of Advisors
We have a Board of Advisors who give us guidance and access to some of the most influential Africans in Africa. Our Board of Advisors are all Captains of industry with a proven track record of success over a long period of time. GABC relies on their wisdom to create policy and programs.
